Our medical network

GulfCare offers access to a comprehensive network of hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers and pharmacies through its NAS medical provider network. When members use a network provider, they benefit from:

Direct billing: With NAS’s direct billing arrangement, members only pay their applicable deductible and co-insurance at the time of their appointment. All other eligible charges are invoiced directly to NAS by the network provider.

Simplified process: No need to deal with claims reimbursement forms or other documents.

Pre-approvals: These are managed directly by the network provider with NAS.

Full coverage: Treatment within the network is fully covered, subject to certain limitations.

Members can easily search for a network provider by type of facility and location using either the myNAS online member portal or the myNAS app. These tools are designed to help them find the care they need quickly and conveniently..

Treatment outside our network

If members choose to visit an out-of-network facility, please note that all expenses will be on a reimbursement basis only. This means they will need to pay the provider for the full costs of their treatment, and then submit a Claims Reimbursement Form to NAS for reimbursement.

For treatments outside their employment country where there is no NAS network, expenses will also be on a reimbursement basis unless:

- They obtain a Treatment Guarantee from NAS, and

- Their provider agrees to accept this guarantee.

It is essential for members to contact the NAS Contact Center before arranging any overseas treatment to ensure proper coordination and coverage.
